Motorola RAZR2 V8 & V9 plus other
"new" releases
15th
May 2007
Motorola have today announced two new
additions to the ever-expanding RAZR lineup - the RAZR2
V8 is a GSM device with a large external screen
and lots of memory, the RAZR2
V9 is a similar 3G/HSDPA device. Both share
the same styling and will be immediately recognisable
as RAZRs.

Most industry pundits were under the
impression that Motorola had promised at least six new
phones, but as it turns out the other handsets have already
been announced although some of the names have changed.
The Motorola
MOTO Q 9 returns for another launch, along
with the Motorola
MOTO Q 8 which has been slightly renamed for
consistency. Also, the ROKR
Z6 (previously the RIZR Z6) and a CDMA version
(ROKR Z6m) have been presented again.
The Motorola
MOTO Z8 is the RIZR Z8 with a different name.
This is a capable Symbian smartphone but one not without
its flaws.
Motorola say that these handsets will
start to become available from July 2007 onwards. We
will bring you a closer look at these new phones a little
later.
